Premier was established in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec Canada in 2002 by a highly experienced team of aviation and airline professionals. With a clear goal of providing high quality, best value Heavy Maintenance and Refinishing services to the North American market, the company has grown to be a leading force in MRO.

Facilities Four locations, 22 lines serving regional, narrow and wide-body aircraft

Premier Aviation provides world-class cost-effectiveness and value-added MRO services to aircraft operators worldwide. With Canada and the United States enjoying one of the world’s most cooperative Bi-lateral Airworthiness Agreements, being located in both countries gives Premier tremendous flexibility. In addition, all Premier locations have the advantage of being positioned within one hour of ten of the largest airports in North America.

Each Premier facility is directly affiliated with a local training center or Community College. This affiliation model has been essential to the success of Premier’s operation and is continuing, consistent with the company’s growth plan. Premier’s long-term relationships and great standing with the OEM’s have positioned the company for continued growth in wide-body, narrow-body and regional airframe maintenance and paint.

Our headquarters is conveniently located at the Trois-Rivieres Airport (YRQ). Recently expanded, this facility now has 150,000 sq. ft. of hangar space, offering the equivalent of seven narrow-body heavy maintenance and paint lines.

Rome - New York - United States (RME) See on map

Located in central New York, this facility houses 379,000 sq. ft. of hangars, shops, warehouses and office space as well as a state-of-the-art 50,000 sq. ft. paint hangar. This facility includes fully equipped back-shops, Ample ramp space, Storage capacity and Full security.

Our Rome facility's significant hangar size, allows us to accept aircraft up to and including the B747-8. Rome is the only facility in the United States certified to perform work on the B747-8.

Windsor - Ontario - Canada (YQG) See on map

Located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the Premier facility is 143 000 sq. ft. of production capacity in a flow-through hangar which is across the river from Detroit and some 250 miles from one of the largest airport in the world - Chicago O'Hare. Windsor can accommodate aircraft types up to and including the B747. The facility also has significant ramp space allowing for parking and storage of a large numbers of aircrafts.

Premier's most recent growth development is the acquisition in early 2016 of a 60,000 sq. ft. MRO facility located at the Jean-Lesage International Airport, Quebec City, Quebec. A team of highly qualified experienced and trained technicians, supervisors and leadership personnel who have worked in that facility for over 20 years. Our Quebec City staff is not only familiar with all facets of aircraft maintenance but highly skilled and proficient in the accomplishments of heavy checks, having completed over 300 heavy checks on regional aircraft.
