Avionics Technician

The Avionics Technician with E License installs, adjusts and repairs aircraft systems and equipment.

Tasks

• Troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems;
• Adjust, repair and overhaul aircraft electrical systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
• Perform and report on routine maintenance;
• Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;
• Sign all forms or work files applicable to his/her work;
• Attend staff training and instruction;
• Inform Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks.

Desired skills

• Recognized diploma in avionics or other accredited course;
• E license issued by Transport Canada;
• Relevant experience in the field.
