Premier Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician to join its team in Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB).

We are a leading full-service provider of airframe heavy maintenance, certified to maintain various aircraft types, including ATR, De Havilland, and Embraer.

The Avionics Technician installs, adjusts, and repairs aircraft systems and equipment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are detail-oriented, and wish to build a career in the aviation industry.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or a compressed schedule of 10-hour workdays
Salary: Up to $52/hour

Responsabilities

  • Troubleshoot aircraft electrical system issues
  • Adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft electrical systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and applicable procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and complete maintenance reports
  • Identify and order materials while complying with company policies
  • Complete documentation according to company procedures
  • Notify the Quality Assurance Supervisor of any irregularities identified during maintenance activities
  • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures

Candidate Profile

  • Recognized Avionics Technology diploma accredited by Transport Canada
  • Valid E License issued by Transport Canada
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work standing, at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Good judgment
  • Team-oriented mindset
