Job description








The sheet metal technician inspect, maintain and repair aircraft structures.
Tasks
- Troubleshoot aircraft structural problems;
- Adjust, repair and overhaul aircraft structures in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
- Perform and report on routine maintenance;
- Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;
- Sign all forms or work files applicable to his/her work;
- Attend staff training and instruction;
- Inform Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks.
Desired skills
- Recognized diploma in aircraft structures or other accredited course;
- S license issued by Transport Canada;
- Relevant experience in the field.
